Aligned with our cultural and knowledge exchange program, volunteers play a supportive role in schools within deprived communities in Ghana. They assist local teachers in subjects such as English, Math, and ICT. Additionally, volunteers organize extra classes during vacations, motivating students to complete assignments. This experience allows them to integrate into the Ghanaian local community, learn about indigenous cultural practices, and explore other parts of Ghana and neighboring countries.

Fundraising Assistant
The role of the fundraising assistant involves maintaining relationships with current and potential donors, coordinating OSDA programs, managing donor databases, contributing to long-term fundraising initiatives, and assisting in the creation of campaign strategies. Additionally, the assistant supports management in overseeing grant management, particularly for large-scale projects, and helps in preparing new grant applications.
The assistant also plays a supportive role in editing, proofreading, and managing online grant applications. Furthermore, they contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation systems for projects and help build technical capacity for project implementation. Lastly, the assistant helps oversee the compilation of donor reports, including detailing completed activities, achieved results, and impact evaluation. This position requires strong networking skills and expertise in public and government affairs.

Volunteer Health Workers
Volunteering in the health sector in Ghana offers an opportunity for individuals to not only advance their career but also to enhance their sense of empathy, self-value, and expertise. Engaging in volunteer work allows individuals to experience a sense of fulfillment that cannot be attained through monetary rewards. Contributing to various OSDA projects provides an avenue to make a meaningful impact by participating in activities such as organizing community gatherings, delivering training sessions in targeted areas, and collaborating with trained nurses to offer additional assistance. Furthermore, volunteers can support local clinics by aiding in minor medical procedures, sharing important health-related information, such as maternal care and nutrition, and engaging with both individuals and groups to provide consultations. Through these efforts, volunteers can effectively contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare in Ghana.

Administrative Assistant
This position includes both managing domestic staff and overseeing the day to day running of the OSDA Ghana office and several other activities.
Apparently, you may have the desire to travel and learn about another continent, know about other cultures, touch lives, meet new people, make global friends, discover your soul mate or discover new business opportunities. OSDA and its partners offer you the opportunity to achieve your dream and learn how to become an Office Administrator.
The volunteer shall work in the office as one of the correspondents to all volunteer inquiries via personal contact, phone and email, taking minutes and ensuring that all documents are filed in an orderly manner, taking care of email accounts, manage our newsletter, enhance our social media presence, blogging, contributing to our annual report, working with the press and media to help spread the word, assisting the team with the creation of videos, Photoshop images for campaigns and design work for reports and assist in managing all domestic arrangements.

Workcamps
